Rob LeMire

I grew up in the central shoreline in CT and recently moved back to my hometown of Old Saybrook with my family. The "Saybrook Six" we are so named by my brothers. It's me, my wife of 20 yrs, 3 boys and 1 daughter. Always passionate about most outdoor activities involving nature, I discovered disc golf while leading as Cubmaster of Killingworth Pack 18. Disc golf can build self confidence in kids that may lack the agility or athleticism needed for many competitive group sports and if anything disc golf exposes them to nature and hopefully draws them away from electronics and/or video games. This sport is not only for younger kids, its almost ageless. I sometimes play with my 9 yr. old or my friend that's almost 70. Casually disc golf can be classified as "a nice hike with a purpose" or you can learn and excel at one of the fastest growing sports in the world.
